The guar gum fracturing fluid is usually crosslinked with boron, and the boric crosslinker crosslinks too fast. JKN-PHB2 can be used to control the crosslinking time and crosslinking efficiency. Alkaline pH buffer can significantly improve the temperature resistance, shear resistance and sand carrying capacity of guanidine adhesive fracturing fluid.
In addition, JKN-PHB2 can effectively neutralize the acidic substances in the fracturing fluid and reduce the risk of environmental pollution.
JKN-PHB2 is compatible with most additives used in fracturing fluid systems.

Recommended Treatment
JKN-PHB2 is added to the gel prior to adding the crosslinker solution to provide the desired delay time for crosslinking.
JKN-PHB2 is added as a side stream to allow optimization of delay time without changing fundamental fluid stability and performance.
JKN-PHB2 is highly soluble in water. it is recommended that the maximum solution be limited to 40wt.%, which is 3.84 lbs./gal.
Packing and Storage
JKN-PHB2 is supplied in 53gallon(200L) high density polyethylene (HDPE) drums or 265gallon(1000L) IBC. Keep it away from extreme conditions such as places near flames or direct sunlight.
Shelf life is 2 years.
