Product Description
If the water used to prepare the fracturing fluid contains bacteria and enzymes, it may cause microbial corrosion, biomass accumulation, biosulfide production and polymer degradation.
The enzymes produced by bacteria are particularly sensitive to most guar gum or guar gum derivatives, resulting in polymer degradation and premature viscosity loss.
JKN-BA can effectively control the number of microorganisms and reduce microbial activity. Avoid adverse conditions such as polymer viscosity loss caused by microorganisms.
Technical & Engineering Information
JKN-BA is a non-oxidizing bactericide with low toxicity, no cumulative toxicity, and is easily soluble in water and is not affected by water hardness. It has a broad spectrum, long-lasting bactericidal ability and can effectively control the growth of bacteria and algae in water.
JKN-BA can be used in combination with other bactericides, such as glutaraldehyde, dithiocyanomethane, etc., to achieve a synergistic effect.
JKN-BA is compatible with most additives used in fracturing fluid systems.
Technical Indicators
Technical Indicators of JKN-BA
Item | Indicator |

Recommended Treatment
It is recommended to add JKN-BA to the fracturing fluid before bacterial problems occur.
JKN-BA has good compatibility and can be compatible with most additives. However, it is recommended to conduct laboratory tests before using additives such as drainage aids, demulsifies, and gel breakers in the system.
The recommended dosage is 0.1%-0.2%
Packing and Storage
JKN-BA is supplied in 53gallon(200L) high density polyethylene (HDPE) drums or 265gallon(1000L) IBC. Keep it away from extreme conditions such as places near flames or direct sunlight.
Shelf life: 2 years.
